Anaheim was a clean and pleasant destination, there wasn't really much development in the area and was mainly hotels, leisure and shops. Travelling to Anaheim was based around Disneyland, which is located there. The transport was quite easy to move around due to having a huge icon, with a huge amount of shuttle buses and taxi's in the area.
Disneyland, it's self was a great experience, but to be completely honest a patient experience. Attending the theme park during the Christmas holidays isn't probably the best time to go, but the lines were never ending... Other then waiting in lines for hours, the rides were great fun, a wide range of foods and resturants and there were firework enetertaiment every night at 9:30pm during christmas holidays, relieving some of the pain of waiting in lines all day.

Vancouver BC was a great experience, a destination that I would definitely return to in the near future due to unfortunately not spending enough time there. The adventure begin catching a plane from San Francisco to Vancouver and then a train to downtown to where we were staying.
The reason for travelling to Vancouver was the Capillano Suspension Bridge, we caught a free shuttle up to the area, which included the main suspension bridge, tree tops walk and a cliff edge walk. The whole place was a memorable event and was a day that I will always remember and definitely pass onto fellow travellers and friends!
Downtown near our hotel we enjoyed a very nice pub meal, and because Canada's laws for age for drinking is the same as in Australia were able to enjoy s couple relaxing drinks. Vancouver to me was half between America and Australia which made it experience rather easier, having money similar to ours and the rate very similar at the time as well. Vancouver was quite cold at the time, so warm rugged up clothing was necessary in mid January.

San Francisco was a city that was more familiar in ways compared to others parts of America that I have seen, for example LA.
Staying in San Francisco over a time period of 5 nights every morning waking up to free complimentary breakfast buffet was a great component to the experience, and the food in general was great all around the city. The transport around the city was easy with a station just down the road from our hotel, being able to travel around the city with ease even for New Years Eve and to see the Golden Gate Bridge.
The first time seeing the Golden Gate Bridge was when the light began to disappear and thought that the lights would still make it a visual to remember, but the lights weren't really capable of lighting up the bridge therefore we returned the next day. The sight was quite amazing with such an immense infrastructure, but for you to gain a better experience of the bridge its best to travel to the other side of the bridge where the hill ascends with better lookouts. The walk across the bridge takes about 40 minutes, yes it is really that long, but the walk is part of the experience and is definitely something you don't want to regret not doing.
Experiencing some of the American culture by participating in watching an NFL game for the 49ers was great to see and enjoy. To be able to be apart of something that is hugely apart of the country, something that you can't experience anywhere else, quite similar to an AFL game back in Australia (Melbourne) but even then not quite the same.
